| Bellies Future Success Aided In Midget Draft |
| We are extremely pleased with our good fortunes at the 2009 Midget draft and welcome to the Salmonbellie family the following players: 1. From the Ridge Meadow Rams Dylan Quinn, Dylan will contribute at both ends of the floor and has great ability around the crease. He suits the Salmonbellie style of play nicely and is a natural fit for the Bellies. 2. From the Langley Thunder Sean Lundstrom, Sean is a prolific goal scorer who knows how to use his body and plays with some game edge. He will certainly attract attention from other teams. 3. From the Langley Thunder Brandon Bull, Brandon is a well skilled player and will contribute in all aspects of the game. He has a huge upside which has yet to be tapped into. From the Ridge Meadow Rams Eric Abercrombie, Eric is a solid two way player with good skill and plays an aggressive game. A great fit for the Bellies. 5. From the Ridge Meadow Rams Spencer Evans, Spencer is a great athlete with superior game smarts and will contribute nicely to the Bellies. 6. From the Richmond Roadrunners Tyler Waite, Tyler was a big contributor at both ends of the floor for his minor team and will now bring his aggressive game to the Bellies. 7. From Prince George Michael Qaurin, Michael is a good athlete who goes hard to the net. His speed, rugged play and dependable contribution make him a great fit for our organization. 8. From Kamloops Cody Mior, Cody is a solid goaltender and has been a key component to Kamloops Minor Lacrosse success over the years. We are very pleased to have him in our program. 9. From the Chilliwack Mustangs Krystian Amyotte-Kilger, Krystian brings to the Salmonbellies a proven goal scorer with great speed. We believe Krystian’s potential has yet to be brought to the forefront. Brad Parker, Head Scout Keith Catton, Chel Tessarolo and Doug Zack 10. From the Richmond Roadrunners Matthew Pirozek, Matthew will bring to us a solid transition player with an aggressive style. 11. From Vernon Craig Bigsby, Craig is a very fast and strong athlete. His aggressive style and passion for the sport make him a great addition to the Bellies. 12. From Kamloops Garth Sawchuk, Garth brings to us a competitive well rounded athlete who excels at defense and transition and we expect will contribute in a big way. 13. From Prince George Dylan Long, is a physical player of good stature and his strength is defence. We feel he can contribute in all aspects of the game. 14. From Peninsula Jericho Paul, Jericho is an exceptional goaltender in box lacrosse and big stick in field lacrosse. He is a good athlete with unlimited potential and we see him as the steal of the draft. 15. From Quesnel Samuel Shore-Olson, Sam poses some great offensive tools and plays with some edge. We look forward to seeing him in the line up. 16. From the Langley Thunder Keenan Staples, Keenan brings an exceptional work ethic to the game. He is a solid defender and will compete well for us at each end of the floor. Fortunately he was overlooked to be at this point of the draft for us. |
